Conceived by Federico Fiorentino, this is no ordinary RIB. The designer calls it a “super RIB,” for good reason.

LOA is 80 feet (24 meters). What’s more? Production is ready to begin.

Announced in Milan last week, Fiorentino approached Sacs Marine or rather we say Sacs Bespoke Operation Division (SBO), a well-known fellow Italian company, to create the new X-80 Super RIB Project.

It follows a number of recent collaborations between the two companies which saw Federico Fiorentino provide the naval architecture for Sacs’ entire Rebel line.

It combines the benefits of big inflatables with those of maxi opens, including comfort, speed, and maneuver.

 The design house said:

Sacs and Fiorentino share the same basic design principles: performance, style, innovation, comfort, and safety for those who want to experience the sea with no limits.”

Whether you want the X-80 as a chase boat or a primary boat, you can put the proverbial pedal to the metal.

The 24 meters “ultimate luxury chase boat” features a “sleek and aerodynamic silhouette” and a number of superyacht features.

A variety of twin- and triple-inboard power packages pledge speeds up to 50 knots.

In addition, total horsepower can be a whopping 5,000.

Meanwhile, your guests can enjoy the X-tra large open deck, which is nearly 646-square-foot (60 square meters) which features a sunbed and living areas, tailored to your tastes.

Request a sunbed, for instance, to complement perimeter seating.

You can also make special requests for the interior

The rendering above, of the master stateroom, is just one suggestion from Fiorentino.

The X-80 super RIB provides a full-beam stateroom amidships for you, encompassing 269 square feet (25 square meters), a twin cabin forward, and crew accommodations

Tasteful decor and design will be found throughout all of the living spaces, and every effort will be made to maximize the space available within the vessel’s 80 feet area.

The RIB manufacturer has had this custom division since day one, for special customer requests, including a custom tender with Fiorentino’s naval architecture for a 164-footer (50-meter).

Sacs SBO has further enjoyed exclusive partnerships with the likes of Abarth and Jaguar, among others.

The initial inquiry for the X-80 came from an owner of a larger superyacht, who wanted a closer connection to the water via a superfast RIB.

However, the Federico Fiorentino team notes that

while the X-80 was initially conceived for an Italian owner, he has since decided not to build, so the project is not sold.”

Luckily for everyone else, the X-80 remains for sale at an undisclosed price. And you can be sure this will not be the last custom-project collaboration between SACS and Federico Fiorentino.

Sometimes, you just want to press the throttles down and go for a thrilling ride. The X-80 promises that experience.

So, get on board and enjoy the thrill with X-80 Super RIB.
