Model: Sydney

Photographer: Clif Ellis | @clifellis

“I’ve been modeling for 3 or 4 years now. I recently, this last year, took my modeling career to full time status. I began modeling a few years ago while majoring in marketing/advertising. I took a job managing one of Hooters’ stores marketing and advertising departments. I coordinated events and hired girls to work the events where I would work along side them. I then began hiring girls for other companies’ events and eventually got pulled into the promo modeling game.

Sydney’s Interview:

How was shooting the cover set with Clif Ellis?

“I have always loved working with Clif. He always does such top notch work and allows me to work naturally, which is a very huge deal when it comes to a model/photographer relationship. I have known Clif for a few years now and try to work with him as often as our busy schedules will allow.”

What would you attribute your success of instagram to?

“I hustled hard, for a long time, to garner my Instagram following, and it was definitely an uphill battle. I’m so thankful for my long term followers who have supported me throughout the years.”

Favorite thing about living in California?

“My favorite thing about living in California is the ability to go snowboarding, off-roading and surfing all in the same day (with some dedication to travel). You are always only a few hours from any outdoor activity and with Los Angeles, one of the largest fashion hubs of the world, being here definitely helps. I love being outside and I’m a model, hence Cali is the perfect place for me.”

What’s your perfect meal?

“My absolute favorite guilty pleasure is rolled tacos drenched in hot sauce from Albertacos by my parents house in SD. Also, as I mentioned before, because of my extreme sugar addiction, any perfect meal must end with a sugary treat. That’s the way to my heart.”

Would you ever pose for VOLO?

“I would love to pose for VOLO.”
Clif Ellis does such top notch work and allows Sydney to work naturally, which is a very huge deal when it comes to a model/photographer relationship.
