As told to VOLOGLAM by Rome Konig-Gio
I was born in New Orleans and now based in Wisconsin. My name is Rome Konig-Gio (Koo-nig-G E O) and I have a degree in Education but my greatest passion is photography. My photographic journey in Glamour began 9 months ago and I have never looked back. I shot my first model and I was hooked. I truly love the art and found a niche that I just get lost in. Glamour has opened my doors to new experiences and I am definitely motivated by the amazing individuals within the glam world. I have been so welcomed by the Glamour community and striving for creating special images for everyone.
About the Model: Anna Caroline
I was introduced to Anna through the International Bikini Model Search Shoot Camp in the Smokey Mountains. Anna approached me and said this is my first time going out of my comfort zone and doing lingerie. It didn’t take me long to discover the beautiful soul beneath the obvious external beauty of this young woman. Anna was this awesome and hilarious individual with a unique look. She is a huge Alabama fan.
Her attitude and love was truly infectious. There was a fresh snow in the morning and I left at 5:00am to find a great spot for the shoot. As I started to think of what to shoot, I decided to go with a Narnia look from the fresh snow in the Smokey Mountains and this amazing rock wall.
Thank goodness, I brought a lambskin fur coat for the cold, but thought with Anna’s pink lingerie the coat made a very complimentary look for her and the Narnia theme. We went to the location and it was like poetry. Anna was so fluid and calm. Anna looked like an angel with an upbeat amazing attitude and we had an amazing time. I look forward to shooting with Anna again.
