Back in August, we pointed you towards one music-experience-elevating product in Bento Close Contact Induction Speaker by Oaxis. That was a few months ago though, so we are hoping that you are ready for another one. Ready or not though, it’s coming.
Sound-wise, these provide a great listening experience overall. We are going to go ahead and chalk it up to the fact that the headphone enclosures are crafted out of FSC-certified solid walnut, which seems to create a cool acoustic effect. It is also worth noting that these headphones boast a “Neodymium magnet and a CCAW voice coil”. We are going to level with you and admit to you that we don’t totally understand what those features do, but they seem to improve our listening experience overall, so whatever.
Looks-wise, they are pretty damn cool. They have a little bit of an eco-y vibe to them, which we dig in general—anyone remember Eco-Chic Spotlight: Q&Q SmileSolar Watches?—but they also are OVER-EAR headphones, which is kinda retro, no? Oh and apparently each pair of headphones has an oil finish applied to the walnut wood, which is the kind of attention to detail that we live for. Obviously.
These also come with a phone adapter, an in-line remote and mic and a sort-of owner’s manual.
Interested in owning a pair? Then prepare to fork over just under $200. Rest assured though, the sound quality is totally top-notch, which makes these quirky headphones absolutely worth the price tag.
