Model: Yasmina

“My name is Yasmina, I am 20 years old, living in France. Modeling is more than my passion, I cannot live without it.

In the island where I came from, nudity is seen as a wrong thing, a lot of people think that nudity is something disrespectful for women. I do not see things that way.

In my opinion, the body of a woman is hers. Respect and dignity are not measured to a few square centimeters of clothes. I have read this somewhere: “All women are naked under their clothes.” And that is true, the female body is something that inspires beauty and sensuality.

It’s even more beautiful when it is in harmony with nature.”

Yasmina’s Interview:

Hey beautiful damsel, who are you and where are you from?

“Hey VOLO people, I am Yasmina and I live in France, Originally I am from Martinique, an island in the French Caribbean.”

Tell us more about your modeling career. Are you a full time model?

“Modeling is more than my passion, I cannot live without it. Modeling is my main profession at the moment.”

So you decided to pose completely nude for our parent magazine VOLO (World’s #1 Art Nude Magazine). Was that the first time you posed nude?

“Where I come from – nudity is considered to be a wrong thing, a sexual thing. Disrespectful to women. But I don’t feel like that. I wanted to pose nude for VOLO with my favorite photographer Marcus, to show the world my true beauty.”

Armelle Kerine shot this gorgeous set with Yasmina from France, the setting is the birthplace of the model which is not mentioned.

Let us talk more about that. You are a gorgeous woman with conservative past. Tell us your views on art and photography.

“In my opinion, the body of a woman is hers alone. Respect and dignity are not measured to a few square centimeters of clothes. I have read this quote somewhere, “We are all naked under their clothes.” and that is true. The female body is something that inspires beauty and sensuality. It’s even more beautiful when it is in harmony with nature. I love Arnelle’s work because his images are always outdoors or on the beach and that’s good because where I came from, we have good beaches.”
