Of course, we are talking about Glam Cars of the future.
Assuming you’re of the male persuasion and interested in the art of seduction while using your vehicular asset, which car, truck, or SUV attracts the ladies you desire? After all, our cars are just a gateway to our sterling personalities, right fellas?
While we’re at it, let’s also point out our Vologlam readership their “chick magnets.” These are the cars you want to pick up your supermodel date on in 2020.
1 The 2020 Tesla Roadster returns better than ever before
Say hello to the second-generation Tesla Roadster. Tesla calls this all-electric supercar the “quickest car in the world.”
The new Roadster is said to go 0 to 60mph in only 1.9 seconds (making it the fastest production car in histiory, once it hits the road) and boasting a top speed of over 250 mph …. No big deal! But how can we miss the Glam feature of this car, it’s (affordable) eco-friendly and silent, so don’t expect to hear any engine or wind noise when inside.
2 Lamborghini Millennio: A wild self-healing future super car!
Millennio, or “third millennium,” don’t expect to see one of these driving around on public roads any time soon. Rather, the Terzo Millennio is Lambo’s look into the distant future, imagining what’s possible in terms of energy delivery, material technology, and of course, insane exterior design.
For those of you who are not aware of its Glam feature, it has a carbon fibre bodyshell that can 'self-heal', through some clever material science. This is a wild self-healing future supercar!
3 2019 Porsche Mission E: Tribute to tomorrow.
Driving a Porsche means driving at its spectacular best.
It’s an eye candy that runs 124 miles per hour in less than 12 seconds giving a top speed of 155 miles per hour.
At the same time, we can’t ignore the Glam feature of this 4-seater “electric sports” car. Its virtual exterior mirrors are eye-catchers in the truest sense of the word along with a completely new operating concept with an eye-tracking system and gesture control.
4 Peek at the (near) future of Infiniti design with the new Q Inspiration Concept
Infiniti gives a look at what its future production flagship sedan could look like.
The new concept car shows off next-level autonomous tech, a variable compression engine and a minimalist interior. But If you need any assistance with more mundane and stressful driving, it’s ProPILOT functionality (Glam feature) will help you to do so.
5 Celebrate an icon with the new special edition 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt
To pay homage to the 50th anniversary of the classic movie “Bullitt,” Ford introduced a limited-edition 2019 Mustang Bullitt. And it looks ready to chase Chargers off the road.
The limited-edition Bullitt achieves a top speed of 163 mph, which is 8 mph quicker than the current Mustang GT.
But the most notable and throwback feature of the 2019 Mustang is the white cue ball manual shifter which is an obvious homage to the 1968 movie "Bullitt" starring Steve McQueen.
6 Say hello to the new 2019 BMW i8 Coupe
If you want to test drive this beast, get your numbers straight.
A hybrid sports cars with a fully electric soft top goes from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 4.2 seconds (4.4 seconds for the 138-pound heavier Roadster) giving a top speed of nearly 156mph.
The Glam feature of i8 is its eye-catching styling, which is straight out of a sci-fi flick; a roadster goes on sale in spring 2018.
7 Faraday Future FFZERO1 Concept: A Wild, 1000-hp Electric Spaceship
The single-seat concept race car with room for one hypothetical driver who sits nestled in a carbon fiber cocoon looks like the world's craziest Batmobile, just as we expected.
We never predicted something as radical as the Faraday Future FFZERO1 concept, a fully electric, single-seat supercar with no doors. The California start-up teases that “if developed for limited production,” the FFZERO1 will be good for more than 1000 horsepower, a top speed of more than 200 mph, and a zero-to-60 time of less than three seconds.
But that was not just enough when Faraday decided to provide Zero Gravity Driving Position as its Glam feature. Inspired by NASA zero gravity design, the driver’s seat allows for a true sense of weightlessness.
The future isn't what we were expecting.
8 Volkswagen’s Electric Future: ID Concept
Volkswagen’s ambitious I.D. concept have made Tesla and General Motors shaking in their boots.
An all-electric compact with autonomous driving capabilities, produces 168 horsepower and can zip to 60 mph in less than 8.0 seconds, with a top speed of 99 mph.
The eye catcher of ID Concept is that it’s a zero-emission vehicle. But that’s not it, there more to the story. You may also notice that the steering wheel in the I.D. can retract into the dashboard.
Its zapping away that whole TDI thing.
9 Lexus shows off its forward-thinking design with the new LF-1 Limitless concept
Lexus introduced the world to its new flagship luxury crossover concept in Detroit: the LF-1 Limitless. The new Lexus concept houses a massive greenhouse and plenty of modern tech, including a “Chauffeur mode,” which allows for hands-free operation, and a “four-dimensional” navigation system, with the added element of time.
Like its name, Lexus’ latest concept is the everything-to-everyone crossover.
10 The Rolls-Royce Vision 100 concept epitomises bespoke automotive luxury
Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it. This is what 2016 Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 Concept is all about.
The Vision 100 is a fully autonomous, zero-emissions vehicle, and it serves to underline BMW's expressed belief that electric drive is the future.
In introducing the car, Rolls-Royce referred to it as "her," and with good reason. The Spirit of Ecstasy figurine that sits proudly at the front of the car has also been personified in the form of an AI called Eleanor (which is the Glam feature) inside the car. She handles most things around the vehicle in response to your voice commands.
The whole concept of a "grand arrival" with the Vision 100 — which, to be fair, is a consistent theme with Rolls-Royce — basically marks this as a vehicle to communicate conspicuous wealth.
